Hey there, I'm Darius Thurston! My journey began in the south suburbs of Chicago, and I’m a proud first-generation college graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia (M-I-Z!), where I earned my undergraduate degree with a minor in Business Management. My career with State Farm started in 2014, and from day one, I discovered a passion for helping people, creating clear, practical options, and becoming a genuine part of the community. Witnessing the devastation of Hurricane Harvey and seeing how State Farm supported its customers firsthand inspired me to move to the Houston area. It called me to not only advance my career but also to dedicate myself to serving others in a truly meaningful way, right here in Spring.

My incredible wife and I have celebrated 4 wonderful years of marriage, and this year we were thrilled to welcome our first child to the world—along with our energetic German Shepherd mix, Hendrix, who rounds out our family. When we’re not focused on serving our customers, you’ll often find us exploring new places, trying out local restaurants, or passionately cheering for the Bears or Mizzou during games. Giving back is a cornerstone of our lives; we’re actively involved in community service and our local church, always grateful for the chance to contribute and share some joy.
